Volunteer in New Orleans — Apply by Thursday, September 1

NOThe Living Charity Volunteer Program is a one-week live-in outreach ministry of the Sisters of Charity – Halifax, that lets you participate in the mission of Charity to those in need.

From November 7 – 12, 2016, during Study Break, volunteer for one-week in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2005, ten years ago, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast and flooded over 80% of New Orleans. Since that time, groups of students, Sisters of Charity and other volunteers have helped rebuild the homes lost to people in New Orleans.

Apply now. Deadline to apply is Thursday, September 1, 2016. Space is limited; not all registrants may be admitted into the Living Charity Volunteer Program. Confirmation of admission will be communicated by Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
